VACANCY: QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Location: Harare

A leading shopfitting and interior fit-out company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates and quotations.

Measure quantities from drawings and on-site.

Prepare tender documents and analyse quotations.

Manage project costs, budgets and variations.

Procure materials and liaise with suppliers.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, measure completed works and prepare valuations.

Work closely with project managers, site supervisors and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Prepare project reports and final accounts.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in shopfitting, interior fit-out or construction.

Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass, ceilings, partitions, joinery and related finishing works will be an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings.

Must be willing to work both in the office and on project sites.

Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

Valid Class 4 driver's licence is an added advantage.
