  • GEOSPATIAL & REMOTE SENSING ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Process and analyse satellite and remotely sensed data.

Develop digital maps and geospatial datasets.

Conduct GIS and spatial-data analysis.

Perform terrain and site assessments.

Support engineering, mining and infrastructure projects with geospatial information.

Interpret satellite imagery and remote-sensing data.

Maintain GIS databases and spatial information systems.

Prepare technical maps, reports and geospatial documentation.

Support project planning and monitoring through GIS and remote-sensing technologies.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Geospatial Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geomatics, Surveying or a related field.

Experience with GIS and remote-sensing software.

Knowledge of satellite imagery, spatial analysis and digital mapping.

Strong analytical and technical skills.

Experience in engineering, mining, infrastructure or environmental projects will be an advantage.
