Amazon (Pvt) Ltd. is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Mechanical Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, install and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.

Supervise mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective solutions.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes.

Review mechanical drawings, designs and technical specifications.

Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.

Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, automation and production teams.

Conduct inspections of machinery and mechanical systems.

Assist with procurement and technical evaluation of mechanical equipment.

Prepare engineering reports, maintenance records and technical documentation.

Ensure mechanical activities comply with applicable engineering, quality and safety requirements.

Support continuous improvement of machinery, production systems and plant efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering, machinery maintenance or industrial operations.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
