VACANCY:Accountant

Location: Harare

A leading hardware company is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, payroll, inventory controls, cash flow management, and business performance analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

Ensure compliance with ZIMRA, VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, NSSA, and other statutory requirements.

Maintain a valid Tax Clearance Certificate (ITF263).

Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions.

Oversee inventory controls, stock reconciliations, and stock takes.

Strengthen internal controls and support audits.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.ACCA, CIMA, CA(Z), or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years in retail, wholesale, hardware, distribution, or FMCG.

Strong knowledge of ZIMRA regulations, taxation, payroll, and stock control.

Proficiency in Sage Evolution and advanced Microsoft Excel.
