The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist lecturers in delivering tutorials, practicals, and laboratory sessions in irrigation and water engineering.

Support students with coursework, assignments, and fieldwork related to irrigation systems, water resource management, and hydrology.

Conduct demonstrations on irrigation technologies and water conservation practices.

Provide academic guidance and mentorship to undergraduate students.

Contribute to research projects and departmental activities.

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 classification or better) in Irrigation and Water Engineering or a closely related field

Five O-Level passes, including English and Mathematics Applicants must be 30 years of age or below Must enroll for a Master’s Degree in the 1st year of study

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students

Qualifications must be obtained from a reputable institution
