VACANCY: ASSISTANT COMMERCIAL MANAGER

An established automotive group in Harare is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Assistant Commercial Manager to accelerate revenue growth, drive sales campaigns, and aggressively grow market share across our commercial business units.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Track and drive daily sales metrics across vehicle and fleet divisions to consistently achieve target revenue.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence to identify new business opportunities and expand corporate and retail market share.
  • Prospect and secure high-value commercial accounts, fleet contracts, and key corporate partnerships.
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies, sales promotions, and cross-selling campaigns to maximize volume and margins.
  • Analyze sales performance, conversion ratios, and customer trends to generate strategic commercial reports for leadership.
  • Strengthen relationships with key commercial clients, insurance partners, and trade bodies to enhance brand market position.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
  • Hands-on commercial sales management experience within the motor/automotive industry.
  • Proven history of driving sales growth and expanding market footprint in competitive environments.
  • Exceptional communication, corporate presentation, and strategic sales negotiation skills.
