job Description

A member of the SME Association of Zimbabwe is seeking a Marketing Officer based in Harare to drive marketing and sales activities, identify new business opportunities, and manage relationships with existing and potential clients. The role involves monitoring and responding to Electronic Government Procurement (EGP) tenders and RFQs, preparing tender documents and quotations, and supporting government procurement processes

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Identify and follow up on new business opportunities
  • Monitor and respond to EGP tenders and RFQs
  • Prepare tender documentation and quotations
  • Maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Promote the business' products and services
  • Prepare regular sales and marketing reports

Qualifications and Experience

o Develop and implement marketing strategies

o Identify and follow up on new business opportunities

o Monitor and respond to EGP tenders and RFQs

o Prepare tender documentation and quotations

o Maintain relationships with existing and potential clients

o Promote business' products and services

o Prepare regular sales and marketing reports

o Must have a driver's license
